Walter Kohut, MD

Dr. Kohut is originally from Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Greensboro has been his home since 1982. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Cincinnati and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati, School of Medicine. His training in Internal Medicine was completed in 1980 and his fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism was completed in 1982, both at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota.

Bindubal K. Balan, MD

Dr. Balan is originally from Bangalore, India. Greensboro has been her home since 2003. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Bangalore Medical College in India. Dr. Balan completed her internship at Yale. Her training in Internal Medicine was completed at Columbia University and her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism was completed at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

James Y. Kim, MD

Dr. Kim is originally from Sandusky, Ohio. Greensboro has been his home since 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of Ohio. His training in Internal Medicine was completed in 2002 at Brown University, the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.

Brian J. MacKenzie, MD

Dr. MacKenzie grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon completion of his training in 2009 he moved back to Greensboro. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Vanderbilt University and his Doctor of Medicine from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His training in Internal Medicine was completed in 2005 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Walter D. Pharr, MD

Dr. Pharr is originally from Charlotte, NC. Greensboro has been his home since 1991. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Davidson College and his Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine. His training in Internal Medicine was completed in 1989 at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in Burlington, VT.

Ajith Ramachandran, MD

Dr. Ramachandran is originally from Newtown, Connecticut. Greensboro has been his home since 2003. He earned his Pre Medical education at Trivandrum Arts College in India and his Doctor of Medicine from Trivandrum Medical College in India. His training in Internal Medicine was completed in 1998 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA.

Mary Prevost, FNP

Ms. Prevost is originally from Carthage, North Carolina. Greensboro has been her home since 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from East Carolina University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University.

Tracy M. Scott, PA

Ms. Scott is originally from Roanoke, Virginia.  She has been a resident of Greensboro since 2008. She completed a Bachelor of Social Work at Radford University, Radford, Virginia in 1999 and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Roanoke, Virginia in 2007.

Dr. Tauseef Syed, MD

Dr. Syed currently resides in Burlington.  She completed her Fellowship in Rheumatology at Metrohealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston, New Jersey.  She trained in non-surgical treatments of muscle/joint disease and rheumatological conditions.  Her areas of interest include rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and undifferentiated connective tissue disease.  Dr. Syed is board certified by the American Board of rheumatology, is licensed in medicine in the State of North Carolina and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American Medical Association.

Lonnie Kendall, FNP

Mr. Kendall is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. Greensboro has been his home since 1967. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University and his Master of Science and Nursing from the University of Virginia.

Dr. Govinda Aryal, MD

Dr. Aryal completed his Fellowship in Rheumatology at UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.  He is trained in non surgical treatment of joint disease.  His area of interest includes different rheumatologic disease such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Gout, SLE and other autoimmune connective tissue disease.  He is also trained in musculoskeletal Ultra sound. Dr. Aryal enjoys the intellectual challenge needed to manage rheumatic disease and believes educating patients about their disease is a key component in effectively managing their conditions.  He is licensed in medicine in the state of North Carolina,  is Board Certified by the American Board of Rheumatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American Medical Association. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and children.

Bryan Bray, Pharm. D

Bryan Bray is a partner, Chief Operating Officer and Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) for Medication Management, LLC and Vice President of Clinical Services for Piedmont Pharmaceutical Care Network, LLC. In addition to management of clinical services for the companies and overseeing day to day operations, Dr. Bray provides comprehensive medication management, direct patient care and clinical research in several physician offices. He is also a preceptor for an Ambulatory Care Clerkship for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy. Dr. Bray has extensive experience in conducting phase 2 through phase 4 clinical drug trials and has completed research in many therapeutic areas such as Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hyperlipidemia, Hypertension, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Lupus and Osteoarthritis.

Caren Martin, Pharm. D

Caren Martin has been a Greensboro resident since 1998.  Dr. Martin received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed an executive residency with the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.  She is a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and a North Carolina Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, and works with Greensboro Medical Associates through their partnership with Medication Management, LLC.
